The confrontation of Pharaoh, by Moses and Aaron, is a fore-glimpse of the confrontation of the Antichrist, False Prophet, and Organized Religion by the "two witnesses".  The persecution of the Children of Israel by Pharaoh, is a fore-glimpse of the persecution of the "Born Again" Children of God, by the Antichrist, False Prophet, and Organized Religion.  God descending on Mount Sinai following the Egyptian tribulation, is a fore-glimpse of Jesus Christ descending at His Second Coming following the "great tribulation" Period (Matthew 24:21-22 [KJV], Revelation 7:14). 

Exodus 19:16 (NIV) On the morning of the third day there was thunder and lightning, with a thick cloud over the mountain, and a very loud trumpet blast. Everyone in the camp trembled.
