The fact that it is the angels that come with Jesus at His Second Coming further clarifies when and how He comes. These Scriptures again sew all prophetic passages into one. (See FAQ # 7.)
Matthew 16:27 (NIV) For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done.
Matthew 25:31 (NIV) "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory.
Mark 8:38 (NIV) If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels."
Luke 9:26 (NIV) If anyone is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.
1 Thessalonians 3:13 (NIV) May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones.
2 Thessalonians 1:7b (NIV) This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels.
Jude 1:14 (NIV) Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men: "See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones
Revelation 19:14 (NIV) The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean.
